About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Purchasing Manager to join our team at JBTL Enterprises Inc. as a key member of our procurement department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Budget Planning and Control

Develop and implement effective budgeting and cost control strategies to ensure optimal resource allocation and minimize expenses.

Staff Management

Lead and motivate a team of procurement professionals, providing guidance and support to ensure successful project execution.

Purchasing Policy Development

Design and implement purchasing policies and procedures that align with company objectives and industry best practices.

Supplier Evaluation and Management

Oversee the evaluation and selection of suppliers, ensuring compliance with company standards and regulations.

Contract Management

Develop and manage contracts with suppliers, ensuring timely delivery and quality of goods and services.

Claims and Dispute Resolution

Review and process claims against suppliers, resolving disputes in a fair and timely manner.

Data Analysis and Reporting

Analyze data and information to inform procurement decisions, providing regular reports to senior management.

Senior Management Support

Provide strategic advice and support to senior management on procurement-related matters.

Sales Team Support

Collaborate with the sales team to build relationships with business clients and negotiate sales contracts.

Inventory Management

Oversee the organization and maintenance of inventory, ensuring accurate tracking and reporting.

Project Coordination

Assign, coordinate, and review projects and programs, ensuring timely completion and quality results.

Operational Management

Plan, organize, direct, control, and evaluate daily operations, ensuring alignment with company objectives.

Requirements
  • Education

Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent.

Experience

2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a related field or equivalent experience.

Security and Safety

Bondable.
