We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Purchasing Manager to join our team at JBTL Enterprises Inc. as a key member of our procurement department.
Key Responsibilities- Budget Planning and Control
Develop and implement effective budgeting and cost control strategies to ensure optimal resource allocation and minimize expenses.
Staff ManagementLead and motivate a team of procurement professionals, providing guidance and support to ensure successful project execution.
Purchasing Policy DevelopmentDesign and implement purchasing policies and procedures that align with company objectives and industry best practices.
Supplier Evaluation and ManagementOversee the evaluation and selection of suppliers, ensuring compliance with company standards and regulations.
Contract ManagementDevelop and manage contracts with suppliers, ensuring timely delivery and quality of goods and services.
Claims and Dispute ResolutionReview and process claims against suppliers, resolving disputes in a fair and timely manner.
Data Analysis and ReportingAnalyze data and information to inform procurement decisions, providing regular reports to senior management.
Senior Management SupportProvide strategic advice and support to senior management on procurement-related matters.
Sales Team SupportCollaborate with the sales team to build relationships with business clients and negotiate sales contracts.
Inventory ManagementOversee the organization and maintenance of inventory, ensuring accurate tracking and reporting.
Project CoordinationAssign, coordinate, and review projects and programs, ensuring timely completion and quality results.
Operational ManagementPlan, organize, direct, control, and evaluate daily operations, ensuring alignment with company objectives.
Requirements- Education
Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent.
Experience2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a related field or equivalent experience.
Security and SafetyBondable.
Work Conditions and Physical CapabilitiesFast-paced environment, tight deadlines, attention to detail, and a large workload.
Personal SuitabilityDependability, excellent oral and written communication skills, flexibility, initiative, judgment, organized, and a team player.
