About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Purchasing Manager to join our team at JBTL Enterprises Inc. as a key member of our Supply Chain department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Procurement and Sourcing: Coordinate activities of personnel engaged in buying, selling, and distributing materials, equipment, machinery, and supplies.
  • Budget Planning and Control: Plan and control budget and expenditures to ensure efficient use of resources.
  • Team Leadership: Hire, train, direct, and motivate staff to achieve team goals and objectives.
  • Purchasing Policies and Procedures: Plan, develop, and implement purchasing policies and procedures to ensure compliance with company standards.
  • Contract Management: Oversee the evaluation of the cost and quality of goods or services, and authorize the development of specifications for products or services.

Requirements

  • Work Environment: Fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
  • Physical Capabilities: Ability to work in a dynamic environment with a large workload.
