About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Purchasing Manager to join our team at JBTL Enterprises Inc. as a key member of our procurement department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Strategic Sourcing: Develop and implement effective sourcing strategies to ensure the timely and cost-effective delivery of goods and services.
  • Procurement and Logistics: Oversee the procurement process, from initial vendor selection to final delivery, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Supply Chain Management: Analyze and optimize the supply chain to minimize costs, reduce lead times, and improve overall efficiency.
  • Budget Planning and Control: Plan, control, and manage budgets to ensure effective use of company resources.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and motivate a team of procurement professionals to achieve departmental goals and objectives.
  • Communication and Collaboration: Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders, including sales, marketing, and operations teams, as well as external vendors and suppliers.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a purchasing or procurement role.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Environment: Fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and a large workload.
  • Personal Suitability: Dependability, excellent oral and written communication skills, flexibility, initiative, judgment, and a team player attitude.
