Regional Finance Manager

Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Finance Manager to oversee the financial operations of our Southern Ontario Region and provide finance leadership to our Construction operations nationwide. The ideal candidate will ensure the accuracy and quality of financial reports, conduct analysis, and work with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems and data analytics tools.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary resource for Regional financial matters, providing strategic guidance and support to senior leadership.
- Act as a financial liaison with Corporate head office, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration.
- Manage Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Payroll, and General Ledger (GL) transactions, ensuring timely and accurate processing.
- Prepare financial statements and reports, providing insightful analysis and recommendations to stakeholders.
- Provide finance support to Construction operations, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.
- Analyze results and generate reports using ERP systems, identifying trends and areas for improvement.
- Participate in strategic planning and budgeting, ensuring alignment with company goals and objectives.
- Conduct due diligence for acquisitions, providing financial expertise and guidance.
- Collaborate with Division Managers on accounts receivable, ensuring timely and accurate processing.
- Implement and monitor policies, procedures, and controls, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Identify opportunities for improvement, driving process enhancements and cost savings.
- Support external audits, ensuring seamless coordination and communication.
- Process payroll and government remittances, ensuring timely and accurate payment.
- Assist with ad-hoc projects, providing financial expertise and support as needed.

Employment Requirements
- Accounting designation required, with a minimum of 10 years of senior finance experience.
- Proficiency in ERP systems and data analytics, with a strong understanding of financial reporting and analysis.
- Self-directed with strong communication skills, able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Experience in the Construction industry, with a strong understanding of financial operations and management.
