Home Services Administrative Support Volunteer

Position Summary:
The Home Services Administrative Support Volunteer plays a crucial role in providing clerical and administrative support to ensure the efficient operation of the Volunteer Centre of Calgary's In-Home Services. This volunteer position is designed for individuals who embody the values of the organization and are committed to furthering its mission and vision.
Primary Duties:- Engages professionally while adhering to the organization's Code of Conduct and relevant Human Rights legislation.
- Ensures the confidentiality of client information, in line with the organization's privacy policies.
- Contributes to a safe and healthy workplace environment.
- Offers administrative assistance to staff, which may include:
- Utilizing various office equipment and software applications;
- Updating and managing databases and performing data entry tasks;
- Handling photocopying, faxing, and scanning duties;
- Compiling documentation packages;
- Making phone calls and discussing services with clients.
- Delivers exceptional customer service to staff, clients, volunteers, and other stakeholders.
- Collects and maintains information in accordance with the organization's confidentiality policies.
- Participates in the annual volunteer feedback survey.
- Completes additional tasks as assigned.
Essential skills for this role include:

- Dependability, attention to detail, and organizational skills
- Capability to interact, listen, and communicate effectively and courteously with others
Approximately 10 hours per week across 2 or 3 weekdays for a duration of about 3 months.
