Wellspring Cancer Support Foundation is seeking a Program Manager to join our dynamic team. This is a full-time contract position that will run until February 2026. The successful candidate may choose to work 2 days at home most weeks. The position is primarily located at our Oakville centre. We are looking for a highly organized individual with excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of experience in a nonprofit setting, preferably related to health and/or wellness. They will also have a university degree in social work, social services, health administration, child life, or a related field. The candidate should have experience in a supervisory role and be fluent in English with excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills. The Program Manager will be responsible for the management of designated programs, including recruitment and succession planning for professional and volunteer program leadership, monitoring program performance, and strategic planning for growth and identification of gaps in programming. They will also be responsible for the coordination of designated programs, including scheduling of professional leaders and volunteers, leader mentoring and support, and acquisition of required supplies and equipment. The successful candidate will be a team player who is able to work in a fast-paced environment and is committed to Wellspring's mission to provide emotional, practical, and physical/functional support to people living with cancer and their caregivers.
