About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Business Development Associate to join our team at The Toronto-Dominion Bank (Canada). As a Business Development Associate, you will play a key role in supporting our Investment Advisors in delivering exceptional client experiences and driving business growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing clients and external referral sources to build and expand our client base.
  • Provide business management and planning support to Investment Advisors, including identifying and pursuing new business opportunities.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement business strategies and initiatives.
  • Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends and opportunities for growth.
  • Develop and maintain knowledge of our products and services to effectively communicate their value to clients.
  • Participate in client meetings and presentations to showcase our expertise and build trust with clients.
  • Support the development and implementation of business plans and strategies to achieve sales targets and growth objectives.
  • Monitor and analyze sales performance and provide insights to inform business decisions.
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends and developments to ensure our business remains competitive and innovative.
Requirements
  • Undergraduate degree in a related field, such as business, finance, or marketing.
  • Proven experience in business development, sales, or a related field.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze data and make informed business decisions.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and projects.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other business software applications.
