Job Title: IT Support Specialist

At the Children's Aid Society of Stormont, Dundas & Glengarry, we are seeking a highly skilled IT Support Specialist to join our team. As an IT Support Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our computer systems, networks, and applications.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide technical support to end-users via phone, email, and in-person assistance.
  • Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues, including installing and upgrading software, hardware, and configuring systems and applications.
  • Prioritize and escalate issues as required to the appropriate team member, vendor, and/or management.
  • Document and track all computer-related support activities using our in-house tracking system.
  • Develop and maintain help sheets and FAQ lists for end-users.
  • Compile and maintain an inventory of all laptops, peripherals, software installs/licenses, and other components and equipment.
Requirements:
  • College diploma or university degree in Computer Science or equivalent work experience.
  • Possession of a valid driver's license and insured vehicle for work purposes.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with a focus on customer satisfaction.
  • Knowledge of computer hardware, including imaging process and/or Autopilot.
  • Experience with desktop and server operating systems, including Active Directory.
  • Extensive application support experience with Microsoft Office 365 suite of tools.
  • Working knowledge of a range of diagnostic utilities.
  • Proficiency with network hardware/software.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with iPhone support via Meraki or other MDM systems.
  • Experience with audio/visual conferencing systems.
  • French language proficiency.
