Job Title: Team Assistant

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Team Assistant to provide administrative support to our Home and Community Care team. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our daily activities and providing exceptional customer service to our patients and families.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide administrative support to the Care Coordination team, including data entry, filing, and record maintenance.
  • Communicate effectively with team members, staff, and clients to ensure information is distributed and obtained appropriately.
  • Manage client files, including scanning and data entry, and ensure file availability when required by Care Coordinators.
  • Process requisitions, prepare related documents, and monitor inventory of supplies.
  • Assist with projects and initiatives related to job responsibilities and participate in orientation and committees.

Requirements:

  • High school graduation diploma plus one year of Community College diploma in Office Administration, Business, Health Administration, or equivalent program.
  • Minimum 18 months of previous experience in customer service or related position in the health, social, or business administration fields.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Proficiency in computer software applications, including email and the internet.
