About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Merchandising Specialist to join our team at Brand Momentum. As a Merchandising Specialist, you will play a critical role in supporting our Sales team by executing ongoing sales plans and Key Account Initiatives (KAI) in the retail environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the Sales team in executing sales plans and KAI initiatives in the retail environment.
  • Call on Drug, Grocery, Mass, and Department retail outlets to promote and sell our products.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with retail partners to drive sales growth and brand awareness.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for growth and implement strategies to achieve sales goals.
  • Provide excellent customer service and respond to customer inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends, competitor activity, and market conditions to inform sales strategies.

Requirements:

  • 1-2 years of experience in sales and merchandising, preferably in the Consumer Package Goods (CPG) industry.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with retail partners and internal stakeholders.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, with experience in Excel and Word.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks.
  • Valid driver's license and access to a vehicle, with a clean driving record.
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds and stand for long periods of time.
