We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Merchandising Specialist to join our team at Acosta. As a Merchandising Specialist, you will play a critical role in supporting our client's merchandising initiatives and enhancing relationships with Store and Department Managers.
Key Responsibilities- Support the development and execution of merchandising plans to drive sales and customer engagement.
- Collaborate with Store and Department Managers to understand their needs and provide best-in-class merchandising services.
- Deliver high-quality merchandising services, including product placement, display maintenance, and inventory management.
- Proactively identify and resolve issues related to merchandising, including product availability and display issues.
- Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders, including Sales Representatives and Operations Teams.
- Work independently and as part of a team to achieve business objectives.
- 1+ year of merchandising experience in the grocery industry.
- Intermediate level and above English reading comprehension.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to execute changes to a planogram.
- Strong organizational skills, with the ability to multitask and meet deadlines.
- Proactive problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
- Flexibility and adaptability, with strong communication skills (written and oral).
- Ability to work Monday-Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm, with occasional travel up to 50kms from your region.
- Valid driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle.
This is a permanent part-time position, with the opportunity to work on a variety of merchandising programs. The role requires the ability to lift up to 30-40lbs and work in dairy chillers/coolers. Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with a focus on customer satisfaction.
