Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Technical Sales Representative to join our team at Wajax. As a Technical Sales Representative, you will be responsible for growing industry revenues within top industry account portfolios and driving the acquisition of new large accounts.

Key Responsibilities

  • Source and prospect new clients continually, conducting sales calls and presenting product solutions to increase sales in assigned territory.
  • Identify and build relationships with decision makers within existing accounts, creating an ongoing relationship strategy and establishing Wajax as a trusted advisor.
  • Review and provide input on target client opportunities, ensuring alignment with overall account strategy.
  • Forecast, deliver, and adjust accounts to ensure success against contract terms.
  • Coordinate with product experts to identify and capitalize on expansion and cross-selling opportunities within existing accounts.
  • Conduct follow-up with customers on orders, quotes, and service requested, undertaking activities to ensure the sale.
  • Develop proposals and quotes based on client needs, specifications, and product offerings.
  • Full compliance with Impact sales process and installed CRM tools (Salesforce).

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree or College Diploma.
  • Minimum 4 years of experience with a proven track record in attaining/exceeding account management and sales goals.
  • Experience in Material Handling, Heavy Equipment, or Industrial Sales considered an asset.
  • Leadership-level industry experience and knowledge of industry sectors an asset.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
