We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Merchandising Specialist to join our team at Acosta. As a Merchandising Specialist, you will play a critical role in supporting our client's merchandising initiatives and enhancing relationships with Store and Department Managers.
Key Responsibilities- Support the development and execution of merchandising plans to drive sales and customer engagement.
- Collaborate with Store and Department Managers to understand their needs and provide best-in-class merchandising services.
- Deliver high-quality merchandising services, including product placement, display maintenance, and inventory management.
- Proactively identify and resolve issues related to merchandising, including product availability and display issues.
- Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders, including Sales Representatives and Operations Teams.
- Work independently and as part of a team to achieve business objectives.
- 1+ year of merchandising experience in the grocery industry.
- Intermediate level and above English reading comprehension.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to execute changes to a planogram.
- Strong organizational skills, with the ability to multitask and meet deadlines.
- Proactive problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
- Flexibility and adaptability, with strong communication skills (written and oral).
- Ability to work Monday-Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm, with occasional flexibility to meet client needs.
- Valid driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle.
- Comfortable traveling up to 50kms from your region, with paid commute time and expenses.
- Computer savvy with access to a PC and internet, and ability to take and submit photos of work.
Comfortable working in dairy chillers/coolers, with most Danone products stored in refrigerated coolers.
