About the Role

Celestica is seeking a highly skilled Senior Manager, Global Talent and Organizational Development to join our Human Resources Centre of Excellence (COE). This is a key role that will focus on the design and implementation of strategic HR practices and talent development programs in support of Celestica's global talent strategy and business objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Implement Celestica's Enhanced Competency Framework: Lead project deliverables and support business in the development of competency libraries for select functions.
  • Support Talent Review and Succession Planning: Collaborate with the Sr. Director, Global Talent & Performance to enhance talent bench strength and leadership capability, drive diversity, and support meaningful career growth.
  • Organize Global Speaking Events: Select speakers, prepare custom content, and manage session logistics for Celestica's annual global speaking event.
  • Manage Mentoring and Top Talent Development Programs: Enhance Celestica's mentoring and top talent development programs, including Women in Action 4.0.
  • Develop Leadership Assessment Tools: Create, socialize, and implement Leadership Assessment tools aligned with Celestica's leadership framework and development strategy.
  • Support Performance Management Practice: Roll out the company's evolved performance management practice, including training/education for global client groups, key enhancements, and change management strategies to foster a continuous feedback and coaching culture.
  • Consult on Learning and Development Solutions: Collaborate with the Sr. Manager, Learning & Performance to design innovative learning and development solutions.
  • Partner with HR Business Partners and Business Leaders: Gather input on talent practices and programs for continuous improvement purposes, socialize new programs, identify talent gaps and requirements, and define project goals and resource requirements.
  • Collaborate with HR Information Systems and Branding & Communications Teams: Ensure the appropriate business requirements are considered in system configuration and develop communications plans and collateral to support the rollout of global talent programs.
  • Provide Leadership and Influence: Lead and influence within the business and HR to project manage all aspects and programs within the talent portfolio.
  • Measure and Report on Program Effectiveness: Measure and report on program and practice effectiveness, provide insights to business strategies, and strive for continuous improvement.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Human Resources Management, Organizational Development, or a related field.
  • Designations and Certifications: CHRP or CSTD designation, or Instructional Design certification an asset.
  • Experience: Five to ten years' experience in HR, with at least five years specifically focused in talent management, organizational development, or learning and development.
  • Skills and Competencies: Effective consultation skills, ability to identify talent needs, develop solutions, and influence various stakeholders; experience in competency development projects and instructional design; excellent written and verbal communication skills; solid facilitation and presentation/public speaking experience; project management experience in talent/L&D development initiatives; experience in implementing change initiatives and optimizing adoption; ability to work collaboratively in a diverse, fast-paced global environment; ability to build strong partnerships with all levels and networks across diverse cultures; two-three years' experience with talent metrics reporting; proficiency with Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Google applications; growth mindset with an openness to new ideas and challenging the status quo.
