About the Role

Arcadis is seeking a seasoned professional to lead our Rail & Transit team in Ontario. As a Business Unit Leader, you will be responsible for driving profitable growth in the Rail and Transit business, aligned with our Global Business Area (GBA) Mobility strategy and financial targets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement the country business plan for the unit, ensuring the team understands its objectives and their role in achieving them.
  • Lead the identification and targeting of clients through the delivery of service excellence, driving organic revenue growth in the country business unit.
  • Build strong relationships with clients to understand their business needs and ensure client satisfaction, improving retention and driving organic revenue growth.
  • Coach and mentor practice group managers, service managers, project managers, and technical managers to ensure all projects are set up for success and appropriate governance is adhered to.
  • Lead decisions on resource utilization within the business unit, maintaining the integrity of the unit composition and pyramid management structure to enable resource optimization.
  • Maintain an in-depth understanding of the business unit's clients and the market, identifying key trends and emerging opportunities.
  • Develop relationships throughout Arcadis to foster cooperation and maximize opportunities for cross-selling and trade-up.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or master's degree
  • 15 years of experience leading and growing a significant business function within a professional services firm
  • Proven leadership capability, inspiring multi-disciplinary teams around a common purpose
