About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Commercial Oncology Business Unit Leader to join our team at Takeda. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for driving the commercial strategy and growth of our Oncology Business Unit.

Key Responsibilities

  • Leadership
    • Establish a clear vision and strategy for the Oncology Business Unit
    • Lead and develop a high-performing team of commercial professionals
    • Foster a culture of collaboration and innovation within the team
    • Develop and implement talent management strategies to ensure succession planning and retention
  • Strategy and Planning
    • Develop and execute a comprehensive commercial strategy for the Oncology Business Unit
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and effective execution
    • Identify and mitigate risks to the business
    • Develop and manage budgets and financial plans for the Oncology Business Unit
  • Excellence in Execution
    • Drive operational excellence within the Oncology Business Unit
    • Develop and implement processes to ensure efficient and effective execution of commercial strategies
    • Monitor and analyze key performance indicators to inform business decisions
  • Customer and Stakeholder Relations
    • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key customers, KOLs, and scientific societies
    • Ensure effective communication and collaboration with internal stakeholders
    • Identify and capitalize on opportunities to drive business growth and expansion

Requirements

  • Education and Experience
    • University degree and/or other relevant qualifications
    • Minimum 10 years of experience in commercial leadership roles within the pharmaceutical industry
    • Proven track record of driving business growth and expansion
  • Skills and Competencies
    • Strong commercial acumen and strategic thinking
    • Excellent leadership and communication skills
    • Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
    • Proven ability to drive business growth and expansion
