Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and strategic leader to head our Oncology Business Unit in Canada. As Country Head for Oncology, you will be responsible for driving the growth and success of our oncology business in the region.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive strategy for the Oncology Business Unit, aligning with Takeda's global objectives.
  • Lead a cross-functional team of marketing, sales, medical, and market access professionals to achieve ambitious goals.
  • Establish strong partnerships with customers, key stakeholders, and internal teams to drive business growth and patient trust.
  • Manage the full P&L for the Oncology Business Unit, ensuring financial performance and resource allocation.
  • Develop and implement access strategies, including pricing and commercial schemes, to optimize P&L.
  • Lead the development of lifecycle management plans and evidence generation to support local data needs.
  • Ensure execution of clinical trials, medical engagement activities, and other medical initiatives.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in leading cross-functional teams and managing large budgets.
  • Strong knowledge of the local oncology market, business model, and legislation.
  • Deep understanding of healthcare and reimbursement systems, as well as treatment pathways.
  • Therapy and product area knowledge, as well as clinical data understanding.
  • Experience in developing value-adding 'win-win' solutions with external stakeholders.
  • Launch experience from a similar environment.
