Job Title: Sous Chef

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sous Chef to join our team at Ontario Inc. as a key member of our culinary team.

Job Summary:

The Sous Chef will be responsible for assisting the Executive Chef in the preparation and presentation of food, as well as supervising kitchen staff and ensuring the smooth operation of the kitchen.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist the Executive Chef in menu planning, food preparation, and presentation.
  • Supervise and train kitchen staff to ensure high-quality food preparation and presentation.
  • Ensure the kitchen is clean and organized, and that all food safety and sanitation standards are met.
  • Assist with inventory management and ordering of supplies.
  • Collaborate with the Executive Chef to develop and implement new menu items and specials.
Requirements:
  • 1-2 years of experience as a Sous Chef or in a similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of food preparation, presentation, and safety.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
