Key Responsibilities
  • Assist users facing difficulties with their computer systems
  • Research and implement solutions by consulting user guides, technical manuals, and other documentation
  • Provide training and advice to users based on identified issues
  • Maintain a log of problems and solutions for reference by other support analysts
  • Oversee a small team of technical support personnel
  • Deliver business systems, network, and Internet support to users
  • Set up equipment for employee use, ensuring proper installation of cables, operating systems, and software
Supervisory Responsibilities
  • Supervise 1 to 2 support staff
Technical Knowledge
  • Familiarity with ITIL principles
  • Proficient in Linux and various networking technologies
  • Knowledge of security software, desktop applications, and server management
  • Experience with MS Office, SQL, and TCP/IP protocols
Travel Requirements
  • Willingness to travel regularly, with travel expenses covered by the employer
