Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Hotel Front Desk Supervisor to join our team at The Village Inn-Elora. As a key member of our front office team, you will be responsible for ensuring seamless guest experiences and maintaining the highest standards of customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Co-ordination and Scheduling

Coordinate activities with other work units or departments to ensure efficient operation of the hotel.

Work Scheduling and Procedures

Establish and maintain work schedules and procedures to ensure optimal productivity and guest satisfaction.

Reporting and Analysis

Prepare and submit reports to management on key performance indicators and areas for improvement.

Staff Management

Co-ordinate, assign, and review work to ensure that staff are meeting their performance goals and providing excellent customer service.

Training and Development

Hire and train staff in job duties, safety procedures, and company policies to ensure they are equipped to provide exceptional service to our guests.

Equipment Maintenance

Maintain the operation of computer systems, equipment, and machinery to ensure business continuity and customer service delivery.

Supply Chain Management

Requisition materials and supplies to ensure that the hotel has the necessary resources to operate efficiently.

Requirements
  • Education

Secondary (high) school graduation certificate is required.

Experience

Experience is an asset, but not required.

Personal Qualities

Attention to detail, organized, and a team player are essential qualities for this role.

Work Conditions

Overtime may be required, and the work term is permanent.

Language

English is the primary language required for this role.

Hours

30 hours per week.
