Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Hotel Front Desk Supervisor to join our team at The Village Inn-Elora. As a key member of our front desk team, you will be responsible for ensuring seamless guest experiences, managing daily operations, and leading a team of front desk staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Co-ordination and Scheduling

Coordinate activities with other work units or departments to ensure efficient operations and effective communication.

Work Scheduling and Procedures

Establish and maintain work schedules and procedures to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.

Reporting and Analysis

Prepare and submit reports to management on key performance indicators, guest feedback, and operational metrics.

Team Management

Co-ordinate, assign, and review work to ensure team members are meeting performance expectations and providing excellent guest service.

Staff Development

Hire, train, and develop staff in job duties, safety procedures, and company policies to ensure a high-performing team.

Equipment Maintenance

Maintain the operation of computer systems, equipment, and machinery to ensure business continuity and customer service delivery.

Supply Chain Management

Requisition materials and supplies to ensure adequate inventory levels and efficient operations.

Security and Safety
  • Bondability

Meet the requirements for bondability to ensure a secure working environment.

Demonstrate attention to detail in all aspects of job performance to ensure accuracy and quality.

Hours: 30 hours per week

Work a regular schedule of 30 hours per week to ensure a healthy work-life balance.
