Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Hotel Front Desk Supervisor to join our team at The Village Inn-Elora. As a key member of our front desk team, you will be responsible for ensuring seamless guest experiences, coordinating with other departments, and maintaining the highest standards of customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Guest Services: Provide exceptional customer service to guests, responding to their needs and resolving any issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Team Coordination: Work closely with other departments, including housekeeping, food and beverage, and maintenance, to ensure seamless operations and efficient guest services.
  • Scheduling and Procedures: Establish and maintain work schedules, procedures, and policies to ensure efficient operations and high-quality guest services.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Prepare and submit reports on guest feedback, employee performance, and operational metrics to inform business decisions.
  • Staff Management: Hire, train, and develop front desk staff to ensure they have the skills and knowledge to provide exceptional guest services.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Ensure the maintenance of computer systems, equipment, and machinery to ensure business continuity and high-quality guest services.
  • Supply Requisition: Requisition materials and supplies as needed to maintain efficient operations.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience: Experience an asset
  • Language: Langue de travail: Anglais
  • Work Hours: Heures de travail: 30 hours per week
