In your capacity as Office Manager for the Branch, you will oversee the operations of the regional office, managing a team of approximately six staff members. Collaborating closely with the Chief Crown Prosecutor, you will identify and strategize for the evolving needs of the office, serving as the primary contact and essential resource for daily administrative functions.
Your responsibilities will include developing staffing plans, providing updates on various initiatives, and assessing staffing needs while offering team members opportunities for professional growth.
The Office Manager will also handle budget oversight and manage human resource processes, including recruitment and performance evaluations, along with all personnel and payroll-related tasks. You will oversee various office requirements, such as infrastructure, IT needs, telecommunication requests, and contract renewals.
A thorough understanding of the criminal justice system and its procedures will enable you to effectively coordinate resources and workflows, ensuring the seamless operation of the office.
To thrive in this position, you should possess outstanding interpersonal and communication abilities. You must be capable of working autonomously while managing a high volume of tasks and meeting essential deadlines. Attention to detail and the ability to foster teamwork will be crucial for success in this supervisory role.
