As the Office Manager for this Branch, your responsibilities will encompass overseeing the operations of the Wetaskiwin office, which includes managing a team of approximately six staff members. In collaboration with the Chief Crown Prosecutor, you will play a crucial role in identifying and strategizing for the evolving needs of the office, serving as the primary contact and key resource for the daily administration of the Branch. You will be tasked with outlining staffing strategies, providing updates on various initiatives, and assessing personnel requirements while offering opportunities for professional development.
The Office Manager will also handle budget oversight and the administration of human resource functions, including recruitment and performance evaluations, as well as all matters related to personnel and payroll. Additionally, you will manage various office necessities such as infrastructure, IT requirements, telecommunication requests, and contract renewals.
A thorough understanding of the criminal justice system and its operations will be essential for effectively coordinating resources and workflows to ensure the seamless functioning of the office.
