As the Office Manager for the Branch, your primary responsibility will be overseeing the operations of the Wetaskiwin office, which includes the supervision and management of approximately six staff members. In collaboration with the Chief Crown Prosecutor, you will be tasked with identifying and planning for the evolving needs of the office, serving as the key contact and principal resource for the daily administration of the Branch. You will develop staffing strategies, provide updates on various initiatives, and assess staffing needs while offering challenging opportunities for professional growth.

The Office Manager will also handle budget oversight and the administration of human resource functions, including recruitment and performance evaluation, along with all personnel and payroll-related matters. Additionally, you will manage various office requirements such as infrastructure, IT needs, telecommunication requests, and contract renewals.

A thorough understanding of the criminal justice system and its processes will enable you to effectively coordinate resources and workflows, ensuring the smooth operation of the office.

The ability to work autonomously while managing a high volume of tasks and meeting deadlines is essential.
