About the Firm:
A prestigious architecture and planning firm is seeking a Senior Architectural Project Leader with over a decade of experience in managing intricate multi-unit residential high-rise projects. The ideal candidate will excel in leading teams comprising technologists, interns, and junior architects. Proficiency in Revit is essential, with a portfolio showcasing diverse residential projects.

Position Overview:
The successful applicant will ideally hold an OAA license or be nearing completion. You will have a proven history as an Architectural Project Manager with a reputable firm, focusing on large-scale high-rise developments. As a project lead, you will have overseen numerous significant projects and have strong endorsements from both Principals and colleagues you have guided. Your experience should encompass managing projects from initial design concepts through to tendering and construction phases. A collaborative leadership style that promotes growth and accountability is essential.

Key Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:
  • Master of Architecture, Bachelor of Architecture, or Architectural Technology Diploma from an accredited institution, with robust Revit skills.
  • 10-15 years of experience in an architectural role within a multi-disciplinary firm, with at least 4 years as a Project Lead or Architectural Project Manager.
  • Currently residing in Canada, with a minimum of 7 years of experience working with Canadian building codes; preference for candidates with a history of promotions in established firms.
  • A strong Revit portfolio featuring multi-family, high-rise, mixed-use, or large commercial projects that demonstrate design excellence.
  • Experience with Revit is mandatory; strong capabilities are required.
  • Ability to lead early design stages, recognize detailed working drawings, and provide mentorship; experience with building permits, SPAs, rezoning, and client submissions, along with comfort in contract administration.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, and MS Office.
  • Exceptional communication skills with the ability to coach others and influence outcomes among multiple stakeholders.
