ABOUT OUR CLIENT
A prestigious architecture and planning firm is seeking a Senior Architectural Project Leader with over 10 years of experience in managing intricate multi-unit residential projects, particularly mid to high-rise developments. The ideal candidate will lead teams of technologists, interns, and junior architects, showcasing a robust portfolio of mixed-use residential projects designed in Revit. This role is pivotal within a dynamic and innovative firm.

POSITION OVERVIEW
The successful applicant will ideally hold an OAA license or be nearing completion. You should have a solid history as an Architectural Project Manager with a reputable firm, specifically on large-scale high-rise developments. Your experience should include serving as the Project Lead on multiple significant projects, backed by strong references from both Principals and colleagues you have guided. You will have overseen projects from initial concept through to tender and construction phases, demonstrating a collaborative leadership style that promotes growth and inclusivity while ensuring accountability for timelines and budgets.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Master of Architecture, Bachelor of Architecture, or Architectural Technology Diploma from an accredited institution with strong Revit capabilities.
  • 10-15 years of professional experience in a multi-disciplinary architectural environment, with at least 4 years in a leadership role.
  • Currently residing in Canada with over 7 years of experience navigating Canadian building codes; preference for candidates with a history of advancement within established architectural firms.
  • A Revit portfolio showcasing multi-family, high-rise, mixed-use, or large commercial projects, reflecting design excellence.
  • Proficiency in Revit is essential, with demonstrated strong capabilities.
  • Ability to lead early concept design stages, recognize detailed working drawings, and provide mentorship; experience with building permits, SPAs, rezoning, client submissions, and contract administration (change orders, RFIs, shop drawings); comprehensive project experience from A-Z.
  • Familiarity with AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, and MS Office.
  • Exceptional communication skills with the ability to coach others and influence outcomes across diverse stakeholders.
