CB Canada is a dynamic and growing construction company that is expanding rapidly. We are seeking an experienced Proposal Coordinator to join our team in Montreal.

Job Summary

We are looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to support our Business Development team in managing and producing proposals (RFPs) in a timely manner. The successful candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the Business Development team in managing and producing proposals (RFPs) in a timely manner;
  • Assist the pursuit teams throughout the proposal submission phase, including attending meetings, writing meeting minutes, and coordinating with team members;
  • Write and edit various sections of proposals;
  • Lead and support the development of proposal templates, cover pages, layouts, and customized presentations and org charts for each project;
  • Work with the Business Development and Marketing teams to develop strategies and implement programs that ensure proposal consistency and company brand standards;
  • Develop, update, and maintain proposal data, such as resumes, project pages, safety statistics, project photos, and references;
  • Support the creation and update of marketing materials, including resumes and project profiles.

Requirements

  • You are a professional looking to expand your knowledge of the construction industry by familiarizing yourself with various types of construction and contracts while helping the company secure contracts;
  • You hold a degree or diploma in literature/communication/business/marketing or a relevant program, or a combination of equivalent experience of at least one year in proposal management and development;
  • You have strong technical writing skills, including writing, editing, grammar, style, spelling, punctuation, and proofreading;
  • You are flexible and open to evolving priorities, executing multiple tasks simultaneously, and meeting deadlines;
  • You are proactive and take the initiative, with strong communication and interpersonal skills;
  • You have a good knowledge of Microsoft Office (particularly Word and PowerPoint). Practical knowledge of the Adobe Creative Suite (particularly InDesign) and experience with Microsoft applications is an asset;
  • Experience in the construction industry and proposal development is preferred;
  • You have excellent mastery of the French language, writing, and grammar.
