Job Title: Commercial Account Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Commercial Account Manager to join our team at BDC. As a key contributor to our financing and credit operations, you will play a critical role in helping Canadian entrepreneurs achieve their business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Build and maintain relationships with entrepreneurs, clients, and prospects in the region to identify business opportunities and provide advice on BDC services.
  • Develop and implement marketing plans to ensure the growth and retention of current clients while acquiring new ones.
  • Analyze and negotiate loan proposals using sound credit judgment.
  • Develop a portfolio of customers and seek out prospects in various industries to support their growth plans via BDC solutions.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related field.
  • 1-5 years of experience in a similar role with sales objectives and knowledge of the region's business community.
  • Excellent financial analysis and interpretation skills.
  • Professional or pending accounting designation is an asset.
  • Passionate about entrepreneurship and customer service.
  • Strong team player with effective communication and relationship-building skills.
