Job Title: Commercial Account Manager, Small Business - Brossard

BDC is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Commercial Account Manager to join our team in Brossard. As a key contributor to financing and credit, you will use your talent and creativity to make a real impact on the success of Canadian entrepreneurs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Meet and build ongoing relationships with entrepreneurs, clients, and prospects in the region to discuss their business needs and provide advice.
  • Deliver a marketing plan aligned with the objectives of the Business Centre to ensure the growth and retention of current clients while acquiring new clients and creating a pool of business opportunities.
  • Develop a concrete business development plan spread over 90 days and propose solutions to entrepreneurs' challenges.
  • Analyze, negotiate, and present high-quality loan proposals using sound credit judgment.
  • Develop a portfolio of customers and seek out prospects in the manufacturing, manufacturing, and distributor fields to support their growth plan via BDC solutions.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a field deemed equivalent.
  • Energy, market development, and a passion for entrepreneurship.
  • Good financial analysis and financial statement interpretation skills.
  • Professional or pending accounting designation (an asset).
  • 1 to 5 years of experience in a similar role with sales objectives and good knowledge of the region's business community.
  • Curiosity, listening skills, and the ability to identify business needs for entrepreneurs.
  • Accuracy of advice, proactivity, and outstanding customer service.
  • Team player with effective and lasting relationships with peers, business contacts, and external partners.
  • Active in the community through associations or chamber of commerce membership.
