Job Summary: As a Certified Field Trainer, you will play a crucial role in the onboarding and development of new Pest Specialists. This position involves conducting on-the-job training and providing peer support to ensure successful integration and retention of new team members.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Field Training: Conduct comprehensive on-the-job training with new hires during their first 6 weeks, ensuring completion of weekly Field Training Checklists.
  • Peer Support: Provide regular check-ins and monthly meet-ups with new hires during their first year, documenting progress and addressing any concerns.
  • Training Certification: Successfully complete the Rentokil NA Field Training Certification Program, with biannual recertification to maintain expertise.

Additional Job Duties:

  • Conduct ride-along sessions for job candidates during the interview process to assess their skills and fit.
  • Arrive on time and prepared for training sessions, ensuring a productive and engaging experience for trainees.
  • Effectively train skills and provide constructive feedback in a timely manner, promoting growth and development.
  • Establish open communication with Trainee's Manager to ensure seamless collaboration and support.
  • Regularly evaluate and sign off on Field Training Checklists to track progress and identify areas for improvement.

Peer Support Expectations:

  • Develop a strong working relationship with trainees, fostering trust and open communication.
  • Be available to answer questions and provide guidance via phone or text, ensuring trainees feel supported throughout their onboarding journey.
  • Help shape expectations and provide guidance as trainees navigate different phases of training and onboarding.
  • Facilitate a smooth transition from trainee to productive employee, providing ongoing support and resources as needed.
  • Communicate any concerns or issues to the Trainee's Manager, ensuring prompt resolution and minimizing disruptions.

Requirements:

  • At least 1 year of experience with Rentokil North America as a Pest Specialist, demonstrating expertise and a strong understanding of the company's operations.
  • Fully-trained according to the Rentokil NA Career Advancement Program (Career Level 4 or 5), with a proven track record of success.
  • Licensed with the appropriate state/province applicator license and categories, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Favorable ratings from the most recent Annual Performance Review, demonstrating exceptional performance and a commitment to excellence.
  • Conducts themselves in a professional manner, embodying the company's values and standards.
