Certified Field Trainer Role

As a Certified Field Trainer at Rentokil Initial, you will play a vital role in the development and growth of our Pest Specialists. This position involves conducting on-the-job training and providing peer support to new hires, ensuring they have the skills and knowledge needed to excel in their roles.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Field Training: Conduct on-the-job training with new Pest Specialists during their first 6 weeks, ensuring completion of weekly Field Training Checklists.
  • Peer Support: Provide weekly check-ins and monthly meet-ups with new hires during their first year, completing associated documentation for records.
  • Training Certification: Successfully complete the Rentokil NA Field Training Certification Program, with biannual recertification.

Additional Job Duties:

As a Certified Field Trainer, you will also be responsible for:

  • Conducting ride-alongs for job candidates during the interview process.
  • Arriving on time and prepared for training sessions.
  • Effectively training skills and providing timely feedback.
  • Communicating with Trainee's Manager on a weekly basis.
  • Evaluating and signing off on Field Training Checklists on a weekly basis.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you must have:

  • At least 1 year of experience as a Pest Specialist with Rentokil North America.
  • Fully-trained according to the Rentokil NA Career Advancement Program (Career Level 4 or 5).
  • Licensed with the appropriate state/province applicator license and categories.
  • Favorable ratings from your most recent Annual Performance Review.
  • A professional demeanor and conduct.
