Certified Field Trainer Job Description

The role of Certified Field Trainer is a critical position within our organization, focusing on the professional development and growth of our Pest Specialist hires.



Key Responsibilities:

  • Field Training: Conduct on-the-job training for new hires, ensuring they complete weekly Field Training Checklists and meet the required standards.
  • Peer Support: Provide regular check-ins and monthly meet-ups with new hires during their first year, maintaining open communication and offering guidance as needed.
  • Training Certification: Successfully complete the Rentokil NA Field Training Certification Program and maintain biannual recertification.


Additional Job Duties:

  • Initial Training Phase: Participate in ride-alongs during the interview process, arrive prepared for training, and effectively train skills while providing timely feedback.
  • Peer Support Phase: Develop a strong working relationship with trainees, be available for questions, and help them transition from trainees to productive employees.


Requirements:

To be considered for this role, applicants must meet the following qualifications:



  • At least 1 year of experience as a Pest Specialist with Rentokil North America.
  • Fully trained according to the Rentokil NA Career Advancement Program (Career Level 4 or 5).
  • Licensed with the appropriate state/province applicator license and categories.
  • Favorable ratings from the most recent Annual Performance Review.
  • Conduct themselves in a professional manner.
