About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Culinary Specialist to join our team at Florenceville Inn. As a key member of our kitchen team, you will be responsible for planning and preparing delicious meals for our guests.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan menus and estimate food requirements to ensure seamless kitchen operations.
  • Requisition food and kitchen supplies to maintain high standards of quality and freshness.
  • Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods to meet the needs of our guests.
  • Train staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food to ensure consistency and quality.
  • Inspect kitchens and food service areas to maintain high standards of cleanliness and safety.
  • Supervise kitchen staff and helpers to ensure efficient and effective kitchen operations.
  • Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment to optimize kitchen performance.
  • Clean kitchen and work areas to maintain a safe and healthy environment.
Requirements
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure.
  • Attention to detail and ability to maintain high standards of quality and cleanliness.
