About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Chef to join our team at Florenceville Inn. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for leading the kitchen and ensuring that our guests receive exceptional dining experiences.

Key Responsibilities
  • Menu Planning and Execution

Develop and implement menus that showcase our culinary expertise and meet the tastes and preferences of our guests.

Food Sourcing and Inventory Management

Source high-quality ingredients and manage inventory to ensure that our kitchen is well-stocked and efficient.

Team Leadership and Training

Lead and train a team of cooks and kitchen staff to ensure that they have the skills and knowledge needed to deliver exceptional service.

Quality Control and Assurance

Inspect kitchens and food service areas to ensure that they meet our high standards of cleanliness and safety.

Supply Chain Management

Order supplies and equipment to ensure that our kitchen is well-stocked and efficient.

Financial Management

Manage kitchen budgets and ensure that we are operating within our financial guidelines.

Requirements
  • Education and Experience

A minimum of 1 year of experience as an Executive Chef or in a similar role.

Skills and Qualifications

Excellent culinary skills and knowledge of food safety and sanitation procedures.

Personal Qualities

Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to work well under pressure.
