Key Responsibilities
  • Menu Planning and Execution
    • Assist in planning and preparing menus for our restaurant, taking into account seasonal ingredients and customer preferences.
    • Estimate food requirements and requisition supplies as needed.
  • Kitchen Operations
    • Assist in the preparation and cooking of complete meals and individual dishes.
    • Prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances.
    • Inspect kitchens and food service areas to ensure cleanliness and organization.
  • Inventory Management
    • Maintain accurate inventory records of food, supplies, and equipment.
    • Order supplies and equipment as needed.
  • Team Collaboration
    • Work closely with the Executive Chef and other kitchen staff to ensure seamless kitchen operations.
    • Participate in team meetings to discuss menu planning, inventory management, and other kitchen-related topics.
Requirements
  • Education
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Work Experience
    • At least 7 months of experience in a similar role.
  • Physical Demands
    • Ability to stand for extended periods and work in a fast-paced environment.
    • Ability to lift and move heavy objects as needed.
