Job Title: Business Development Executive

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Business Development Executive to join our team at Insight Direct UK Ltd. As a Business Development Executive, you will be responsible for generating new sales opportunities within the Commercial and Industrial sectors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and Qualify Leads: Compile lists of prospective customers and identify potential sales opportunities.
  • Develop Business Cases: Formulate commercially viable business cases and drive deals to closure.
  • Cold Calling and Sales: Cold call prospective customers, identify and qualify leads, and manage the sales process from start to finish.
  • Account Management: Manage target account plans and opportunity management processes to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with internal teams and external partners to determine customer requirements and manage all aspects of the sales process.
  • Revenue Growth: Meet or exceed required sales targets and contribute to the growth of the business.

Requirements:

  • Education and Experience: Post-secondary education with a minimum of 5 years of sales experience with solution-based products.
  • Language Skills: Bilingual (French and English).
  • Technical Skills: Detailed knowledge across multi-vendor product lines and strong working knowledge of MS Office products.
  • Soft Skills: Proven ability to meet sales quotas, acquire new customers, and build strong relationships with customers and internal stakeholders.

Working Conditions:

This role is based in an office environment with computer work. May involve extensive periods of sitting, typing, and phone use. May need to lift up to 10 lbs.
