Position Overview

The Project Administration Officer plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of administrative functions within the organization. This position requires a proactive individual who can manage various tasks efficiently and effectively.

Qualifications
  • Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • Experience: 1 to 2 years in a similar role
Key Responsibilities
  • Assess and enhance new administrative processes
  • Assign tasks to support staff
  • Set work priorities, ensuring adherence to procedures and deadlines
  • Conduct administrative functions of the organization
  • Manage policies regarding the release of records in compliance with government access and privacy laws
  • Coordinate and strategize office services, including accommodation, relocation, equipment, supplies, and maintenance
  • Assist in developing the operational budget and maintain inventory and budgetary oversight
  • Compile data and generate regular and special reports, manuals, and correspondence
  • Perform data entry tasks
  • Provide training to staff members
  • Supervise and coordinate office administrative practices
  • Manage payroll processes
  • Plan and oversee budget and expenditures
Supervisory Responsibilities

Responsible for overseeing 1 to 2 staff members.

Technical Skills
  • Proficient in electronic scheduling tools
  • Experience with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software
  • Familiarity with MS Project, MS Excel, MS Office Suite, MS Outlook, MS PowerPoint, MS Windows, and MS Word
  • Knowledge of project management software
