Restaurant Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Restaurant Manager to join our team at THE SECOND CUP LTD. as a key member of our operations team.
Key Responsibilities- Evaluate Daily Operations: Monitor and assess the performance of our food services team to ensure seamless execution of daily operations.
- Staff Performance Monitoring: Regularly evaluate and provide feedback to staff to ensure they meet the high standards of our company.
- Operational Planning: Develop and implement effective plans to optimize daily operations, including staff scheduling, inventory management, and customer service.
- Staff Recruitment and Development: Recruit, train, and develop a high-performing team of food services staff to ensure excellent customer service and high-quality food products.
- Financial Management: Manage cash handling, balance sheets, and other financial reports to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with provincial/territorial liquor legislation and regulations, as well as health and safety regulations.
- Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service, addressing complaints and concerns in a professional and timely manner.
- Inventory Management: Organize and maintain inventory levels to ensure efficient operations and minimize waste.
- Performance Reviews: Conduct regular performance reviews to evaluate staff performance and provide feedback for improvement.
We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Restaurant Manager who possesses excellent leadership and communication skills. You will have a proven track record of success in a similar role, with a strong focus on customer service, staff development, and operational efficiency.
Requirements- Education: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years, or equivalent experience.
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
- Certifications: Safe Food Handling certificate and Food Safety Certificate.
- Computer Skills: Proficient in MS Office, MS Outlook, and point of sale systems.
- Transportation: Own transportation.
- Work Environment: Fast-paced environment, work under pressure, repetitive tasks, handling heavy loads, attention to detail, and combination of sitting, standing, and walking.
- Personal Suitability: Accurate, client-focused, dependable, efficient interpersonal skills, excellent oral and written communication, flexibility, organized, reliability, team player, and ability to multitask.
