About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Medical Office Coordinator to join our team at Dentalcorp Health Services Ltd.

Key Responsibilities
  • Client Communication: Interview patients to obtain comprehensive case histories, ensuring accurate and thorough documentation.
  • Scheduling and Coordination: Schedule and confirm appointments, ensuring seamless communication with patients and dental professionals.
  • Administrative Tasks: Complete insurance and other claim forms, order supplies, and maintain inventory to ensure efficient office operations.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Enter and format electronically based medical reports and correspondence, prepare spreadsheets and documents for review, and initiate and maintain confidential medical files and records.
  • Meeting Support: Prepare draft agendas for meetings and take, transcribe, and distribute minutes to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
  • Data Entry and Customer Service: Perform data entry and provide exceptional customer service to patients and dental professionals.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a medical office setting.
  • Computer and Technology Skills: Proficient in MS Word, MS Excel, MS Windows, and MS Outlook.
  • Technical Terminology: Familiarity with dental terminology.
  • Security and Safety: Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to security protocols.
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail.
  • Personal Suitability: Accurate, client-focused, excellent oral and written communication skills, flexibility, organized, reliable, and a team player.
