About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cook to join our team at Bistro La Coquille Ltée. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of dishes to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate special events and determine food portions and costs
  • Plan menus and estimate food requirements for their realization
  • Requisition food and kitchen supplies
  • Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods
  • Prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances
  • Inspect kitchens and food service areas
  • Supervise kitchen staff and helpers
  • Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies and equipment
  • Clean kitchen and work areas
  • Organize buffets and banquets
Requirements
  • Cook Trade Certification
  • Safe Food Handling certificate
  • Food Safety Certificate
  • First Aid Certificate
Work Environment
