About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Greek Chef to join our team at Grillades Greektown. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for planning and executing menus, managing kitchen operations, and ensuring exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Menu Planning and Execution
    • Develop and implement menus that showcase traditional Greek cuisine
    • Estimate food requirements and manage inventory to minimize waste
  • Kitchen Management
    • Supervise kitchen staff and ensure efficient workflow
    • Maintain high standards of cleanliness and sanitation
  • Customer Service
    • Provide exceptional service to customers, ensuring their dining experience is memorable
    • Respond to customer feedback and concerns in a professional manner
Requirements
  • Education
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Work Experience
    • Experience in a commercial kitchen, preferably in a Greek restaurant
  • Skills
    • Strong knowledge of traditional Greek cuisine and cooking techniques
    • Excellent time management and organizational skills
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain a calm demeanor under pressure

  • Language
    • Fluency in English or French
  • Availability
    • Availability to work 30-40 hours per week
