Job Title: Executive Chef

We are seeking an experienced Executive Chef to join our team at Grillades Greektown. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for leading our kitchen staff and ensuring the highest quality of food is served to our customers.

Responsibilities:
  • Plan and execute menus, estimating food requirements and requisitioning supplies as needed.
  • Supervise kitchen staff and helpers, maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
  • Order and manage inventory of food, supplies, and equipment, ensuring efficient use of resources.
  • Cook and prepare complete meals or individual dishes, adhering to our culinary standards.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with local suppliers to ensure the freshest ingredients.
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience in a fast-paced kitchen environment, preferably in a restaurant setting.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and train staff.
  • Attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
  • Fluency in English or French, with the ability to communicate effectively with staff and customers.
Work Environment:

Our kitchen is a fast-paced and dynamic environment, with a focus on providing exceptional customer service. As an Executive Chef, you will be expected to work a minimum of 30-40 hours per week, with flexibility to work varying shifts, including evenings and weekends.
