We are seeking a skilled and experienced Greek Chef to join our team at Grillades Greektown. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for creating delicious and authentic Greek dishes that showcase our restaurant's commitment to quality and tradition.
Key Responsibilities- Menu Planning and Execution
Plan and execute menus that showcase the flavors and ingredients of Greece, taking into account seasonal availability and customer preferences.
Food Preparation and PresentationPrepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods, ensuring that they are presented in an attractive and appetizing manner.
Inventory Management and Supply ChainManage inventory levels and requisition food and kitchen supplies as needed, ensuring that our kitchen is always well-stocked and efficient.
Team Leadership and SupervisionSupervise kitchen staff and helpers, providing guidance and support to ensure that our kitchen runs smoothly and efficiently.
Cleanliness and SafetyClean kitchen and work areas, maintaining a clean and safe environment for our staff and customers.
Requirements- Education and Experience
Secondary (high) school graduation certificate and experience in a restaurant or culinary setting is an asset.
Work EnvironmentAbility to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment, standing for extended periods and working under pressure.
LanguageFluency in English or French is required, with the ability to communicate effectively with our team and customers.
Work ScheduleAbility to work 30 to 40 hours per week, with flexibility to work varied shifts as needed.
