Key Responsibilities- Supervise and manage a team of specialist chefs, chefs, cooks, and other kitchen staff to ensure seamless kitchen operations.
- Develop and implement new recipes and menus to meet the evolving tastes and preferences of our customers.
- Train and instruct cooks in preparation, cooking, garnishing, and presentation of food to maintain the highest standards of quality and presentation.
- Prepare and cook complete meals and specialty foods for events such as banquets and corporate functions.
- Requisition food and kitchen supplies, and arrange for equipment purchases and repairs to maintain a well-stocked and well-maintained kitchen.
- 5 years or more of experience as a chef or in a related culinary role.
- Cook Trade Certification and Certified Chef de Cuisine (CCC) designation.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and maintain attention to detail in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
- Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings and weekends.
