Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Restaurant Supervisor to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising and coordinating the activities of our food service staff, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and high-quality food.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and Coordinate Staff

Supervise and coordinate the activities of our food service staff, ensuring that they are working efficiently and effectively to meet the needs of our customers.

Train and Develop Staff

Train and develop our staff in their job duties, sanitation and safety procedures, and customer service skills.

Manage Inventory and Supplies

Estimate and manage inventory and supplies required for meal preparation, ensuring that we have the necessary resources to meet customer demand.

Ensure Quality Control

Ensure that our food and service meet quality control standards, and that our customers receive exceptional service.

Prepare Budget and Reports

Prepare budget and cost estimates, and submit reports to management as required.

Address Customer Complaints

Address customer complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner.

Maintain Records

Maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.

Requirements
  • Education

Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.

Work Setting

Fast-paced food service environment.

Tasks

Supervise and coordinate activities of staff who prepare and portion food, train staff in job duties and sanitation procedures, estimate inventory and supplies required for meal preparation, and ensure quality control standards are met.

Supervision

Supervise 3-4 people.

Security and Safety

Basic security clearance.

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities

Fast-paced environment, work under pressure, standing for extended periods, and physically demanding.

Own Tools/Equipment

Uniform.

Personal Suitability

Client focus, efficient interpersonal skills, excellent oral communication, flexibility, team player, and initiative.

Experience

1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service environment.
