Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team at WHITE SPOT RESTAURANT. As a key member of our restaurant team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our food service department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and Coordinate Activities: Oversee the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that food is prepared and served to the highest quality standards.
  • Train and Develop Staff: Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, and provide ongoing coaching and feedback to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to succeed.
  • Inventory Management: Estimate ingredient and supply requirements for meal preparation, and maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.
  • Quality Control: Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, and address customer complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Team Leadership: Establish work schedules, and lead a team of 5-10 staff members to achieve our restaurant's goals and objectives.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service supervisory role.
  • Work Environment: Fast-paced environment with a combination of sitting, standing, and walking.
  • Physical Demands: Standing for extended periods.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Schedule: 40 hours per week.
