Small Business Consultant

Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee a designated portfolio of valuable and/or intricate small business client relationships to ensure retention and achieve established objectives while adhering to Scotiabank's Service Standards.
- Establish a prominent presence in the local business landscape by nurturing connections with various Centres of Influence.
- Engage proactively with both new and existing clients to foster robust, ongoing relationships and provide comprehensive guidance, enabling them to cultivate successful enterprises.
- Collaborate with fellow advisors to foster a customer-focused atmosphere.
Qualifications:
- A results-driven mindset with a solid understanding of the small business sector, including the features and advantages of small business offerings, as well as familiarity with financial statements, applicable risk management policies, and legal documentation related to small business products.
- Demonstrated proficiency in business development strategies and knowledge of small business legal frameworks, lifecycle stages, competitor offerings, and alternative financing sources.
- Strong organizational abilities and adaptability to a dynamic environment.
- Exceptional relationship-building and communication skills; enjoy networking and collaborating with others.
- Educational background in a business-related field or equivalent experience as a small business owner.
- Possession of a valid driver's license and access to a dependable vehicle.
