About the Role

As a Virtual Small Business Advisor, you'll play a vital role in guiding and supporting small business owners across Canada. You'll be dedicated to building strong relationships with clients, understanding their unique needs, and providing tailored advice to help them achieve success.

Your primary focus will be on:

  • Managing a portfolio of high-value and complex small business accounts, ensuring client retention and satisfaction while meeting Scotiabank's service standards.
  • Proactively engaging with both new and existing clients to cultivate lasting relationships and offer comprehensive guidance on various financial products and services.
  • Collaborating with fellow advisors to create a customer-centric environment and ensure seamless support for all clients.

What You Bring to the Table

  • A results-oriented mindset with a deep understanding of the small business landscape, including financial statements, risk management policies, and legal documentation.
  • Strong business development skills and knowledge of various small business structures, competitor offerings, and alternative financing options.
