- Oversee a designated portfolio of valuable and/or intricate small business client relationships to ensure retention and meet established objectives while adhering to Scotiabank's Service Standards.
- Establish a prominent presence within the local business ecosystem by fostering connections with various Centers of Influence.
- Engage proactively with both new and existing clients to cultivate strong, enduring relationships and offer comprehensive guidance, empowering them to thrive in their ventures.
- Collaborate with fellow advisors to foster a customer-focused atmosphere.
Qualifications:
- A results-driven mindset with a solid understanding of the small business landscape, including the features and advantages of small business offerings, as well as knowledge of financial statements, applicable risk management protocols, and legal documentation relevant to small business services.
- Proven expertise in business development strategies and familiarity with small business legal frameworks, lifecycle stages, competitor products, and alternative financing options.
- Strong organizational capabilities and adaptability to a dynamic environment.
- Exceptional relationship-building and communication skills; enjoy engaging with people and excel in collaboration.
- A background in a business-related field or equivalent experience as a small business owner.
- A valid driver's license and access to a dependable vehicle.
